ALEXANDRE CADOSCH
President of the Board of Eurofin Hospitaliy S.A. Mr. Alexandre Cadosch is a graduate of the “Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne” with a degree in hospitality management. Mr. Cadosch is Sole Director of a company that owns a five star hotel and he is also director and President of EI – American Real Estate Corporation, a Florida corporation with holdings in the hotel industry in Florida. In 1989, he started to work in the field of brokerage (currencies & precious metals options) with Tradition Financial Services in Lausanne. He then joined Gestar S.A., a financial company based in Lausanne owned by the Espirito Santo Group, where he gained experience in private banking as well as corporate, legal and tax fields. At the end of 1999, Mr. Cadosch established Eurofin Services S.A. in Lausanne for a private investor.
CLEM BARTER
Clem Barter has over 30 years of experience in the travel and hospitality industry. From 1990 to 2006 he worked for Conrad International where he became President in 2000. He was a driving force behind the management and expansion of the Conrad Hotels. He oversaw hotel management, sales, marketing and development. Barter’s professional affiliations include membership of the Chaîne des Rotisseurs and the American Society of Travel Agents. Barter has held executive positions with Inter-Continental Hotels, Forum Hotel, Hotel Negresco, Hotel Beau Rivage, Hotel Atlantic, Hotel Kempinski and London’s Tara Hotel.
MICHEL CRETON
Also a graduate of the “Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne”, his early career led him to assume local and international management positions in different Hospitality facilities for over 10 years, thus giving Mr. Michel Creton valuable knowledge of the hotel business environment. Presently Manager of Eurofin Services SA based in Lausanne, Mr. Creton is specialized in financial planning, accountancy and trust services.
JEAN-MICHEL CUVELIER
Co-Founder. Jean-Michel Cuvelier has over 21 years of experience in the hospitality industry. For the last 3 years, he has been working as a hospitality industry consultant in Miami and the Caribbean Islands. He is also Chairman of the Board of an important Tourism sector player, specialising in the development of bio-diversity. Prior to working in the consulting business, he was in charge of the strategic development of a Belgian hotel chain where he was a member of the Executive Committee. For more than 10 years, he managed luxury hotels and a hotel chain in Belgium, successfully bringing multiple hotels from red to black for positive financial results. He accomplished these successes primarily by repositioning hotels, adapting new strategies in sales and marketing through the use of Yield Management and with development of a new Food Beverage concept. Jean-Michel is also a graduate of the “Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne”.
FRÉDÉRIC BOSON
Managing Director. Frédéric Boson has accumulated over 10 years of experience in hotel management and tourism, in operational management where he proposed turnaround solutions, as well as in the strategic operational advisory. Before joining Eurofin Hospitality, Frédéric also specialized in the restructuring of hotel companies and leisure centres as well as on the development of strategic concepts and the management of tourist destinations. Frédéric has developed a strong network within the tourism industry, especially in the domains of thermal centres and sustainable development.
FRANCIS SCHERLY
Francis Scherly is a professor-consultant and the founder of Interconsulting, a company operating in the international tourism business on a multi-disciplinary basis. He is also an Honorary Professor at the Faculty of Advanced Business Studies in Lausanne, where he has been teaching the Master’s course, "Applied Tourism Management", for the past 18 years. An economist specialised in strategic development in the organization and implementation of tourism concepts, Mr. Scherly’s expertise in the domain of tourism is invaluable, especially thanks to his many experiences in strategic development within the industry.
